Snow Globe

Snow Globe, the fifteenth studio album by the BRIT and Ivor Novello award winning duo Erasure (aka Vince Clarke and Andy Bell), reissued on limited edition pink vinyl via Mute.

Originally released in 2013 and produced by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Yann Tiersen,  Einstürzende Neubauten), Snow Globe is a collection of original compositions and seasonal classics, including the duo’s take on the mediaeval Latin carol, ‘Gaudete’. Unlike the bells and whistles, glitter and tinsel sets that crowd the market come Christmas-time, this Erasure album is possessed of something more in the wistfully, strangely subdued celebratory mould.

Since their formation in 1985, Erasure have released a staggering number of albums and singles, and left an indelible mark on our musical landscape. Over decades of work and friendship their relatable, soulful, life-affirming tunes, fuelled by a desire to create uplifting music for everybody has meant that they have become one of the UK’s most enduring pop duos and songwriters.
