sunn O))) are a Seattle duo who use the tenets of doom and black metal to make deep, dark drones heavier than anything previously realized in the genre. Japanese sludge/doom rock trio Boris are cult favourites who took their name from a song on grunge godfathers the Melvins' Bullhead album.
