Formed by Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus -- three singer/songwriters each already deep into successful solo careers -- indie supergroup Boygenius showcased Dacus' wit, Baker's emotionally active style, and Bridgers' darkly confessional lyricism on their self-titled 2018 EP.
