With a sound that merges post-hardcore's plaintiveness with metalcore's punishing heaviness, Bury Tomorrow attack listeners from all fronts with their emotionally charged metal assault. Offsetting layers of pleasant, atmospheric melody with sudden bursts of chugging heaviness, the band uses its breakdowns to create a brooding, moody effect. Emerging in 2007, they topped the charts in their U.K. homeland with the release of 2014's Runes. Subsequent efforts like Black Flame (2018) and The Seventh Sun (2023) did little to temper the fire, as they delivered massive blasts of melodic metalcore with extreme prejudice.
