G. Love & Special Sauce are a Philadelphia-based outfit known for their distinctively laid-back blend of Delta-style blues and old-school hip-hop. Led by singer/songwriter G. Love, the group broke through with 1994's G. Love & Special Sauce, whose single "Cold Beverage" introduced fans to their funky sonic bouillabaisse and helped propel the album to gold status.
