As the compelling frontman of the group My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way was responsible for helping bring emo and punk music into the mainstream at the turn of the millennium, and successfully sparking a million conversations about what is and is not considered punk in the process. To close out the decade, The Umbrella Academy was adapted for television, featuring fresh singles recorded by Way.
