Lester Tipton was an American soul singer and dancer originally from Detroit, USA. Tipton gained popularity in his youth with his twin sister Leslie as dancers on Robin Seymour's Swinging Time. In 1966 Tipton recorded the single "This Won’t Change" with the Detroit label LaBeat which later became a hit in the Northern Soul scene in England.
