A long-running Welsh rock group that emerged near the tail-end of the '90s Brit-pop boom, Stereophonics combine brash traditionalist guitar rock with arena-ready alt-pop anthems. Driven by the distinctive, rough-edged vocals of frontman Kelly Jones, the band found mainstream success in 1999 with the release of their sophomore effort, Performance and Cocktails. Over the decades Stereophonics have remained festival favourites and a potent force on the U.K. charts, releasing a dozen studio albums, seven of which soared to number one.
