Originally recorded between 1967 and 1972, these songs were sold on the street by the artist.
The re-release was compiled by Smith’s brother Gary and author Mike Stax, editor of Ugly Things magazine and writer of Swim Through the Darkness: My Search for Craig Smith and the Mystery of Maitreya Kali, which comprehensively tells Smith’s story from his humble beginnings to his tragic demise.
