Hailing from Ipswich, England, The Adicts stood out with their striking white outfits and a mash-up of The Joker and A Clockwork Orange imagery. Their catchy, glam-punk singalong tunes and theatrical live shows made them one of the most exciting punk acts of the era. Despite record label pressure to soften their name to ADX or The Fun Adicts for children’s TV, their rebellious energy remained intact.
Even today, The Adicts continue to grow their audience, regularly touring the USA, UK, and Europe.
