Working on Me + Papaya (RSD 25)

A brand-new and exclusive vinyl release featuring one track from the upcoming DRIFT project by Renaud Letang, plus a vinyl-only track featuring Seu Jorge.

Renaud Letang is one of France’s most prestigious music producers. He started as a sound engineer in the 90s, working primarily with Jean-Michel Jarre before transitioning into production. Over the years, he has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists, including Charlotte Gainsbourg, Seu Jorge, Amadou & Mariam, Saul Williams, Jarvis Cocker, Denai Moore, Connan Mockasin, Chilly Gonzales, Philippe Katerine, and many more. He has also received four Grammy Award nominations for his work on Feist’s albums.

His DRIFT project began as a creative exchange with Chilly Gonzales and has since evolved into a collaborative effort with longtime musical friends such as Feist, Connan Mockasin, Jamie Lidell, Saul Williams, Benny Sings, Mocky, Philippe Katerine, and Infinite Bisous. The album embraces a deeply organic, collective spirit where artists set aside ego and embrace vulnerability, fostering true creativity.

Most of the recordings took place at the legendary Studio Ferber in Paris, capturing the essence of Letang’s unique artistic vision.
